Yamaha YBR 125 front and rear brake , ive not had any problems whatsoever with mine so far , but problems will occur eventually .
Always check you fluid and pads/shoes regular and change fluid - see the pre ride checks
post here and the routine maintenance post here .
here some common problems etc that can occur in any motorcycle braking system .
brakes are spongy or dont hold- air in brake line or fluid leak
-contaminated pads ie oil/grease
-deteriorated brake fluid
-master cylinder faulty/worn
brake does not hold
-brakes incorrectly adjusted
-brake shoes worn
-leak loss of fluid in braking system
-wheel axle bent
-brake caliper bolts loose
-wheel bearing wear or damged
-brake drum out of shape
-master cylinder piston siezed
-levers or pedals stuck siezed stiff
-caliper pistons or assembly siezed
-brake pads not installed correct or damaged or foreign object present
-brake shoe springs
-brake shoe mechanism siezed
