Yamaha YBR 125 blog , removing and fitting the exhaust

Yamaha YBR 125 blog removing the exhaust

is quite an easy job or can be if the allen head bolts do not snap off , which happens on the YBR 125
at lease 50% of the times i have done this job for first time on a bike .

its literally only 3 bolts , 2 x size 5 allen headed bolts in the exhaust manifold and a 12mm nut/bolt at the rear of exhaust connected to the foot pegs.

newer model Yamaha YBR 125 have the EGR pipe fitted to the centre this is just a matter of a clip
and pulling the pipe off .

when you undo the 2 allen headed bolts be careful as they can break , i usually turn very slowly adding lots of wd40 , move the bolt backwards and forwards a bit to try to break it free and loosen it .

but sometime its just cannot be helped , you have to snap them off .

drill the holes and tap and thread . ill do a post on this one day .
